Take a tour of MPI Partners to learn how to access your Community and manage your profile.

Register a New Account

Registering a new MPI Partners account is done in five steps.

Things to remember:
  • You receive four emails during registration, each at a separate step in the process. Do not delete any of the emails until your registration is complete. If you can't find any of these emails, check your Junk or Spam folders.
  • If you delete an email or need other registration help, please contact the person who invited you to join MPI Partners.
  • Complete the registration process in one sitting. You will need approximately ten minutes.
  • Only register to MPI Partners once. If you work at multiple locations, you will receive a separate invitation to each location. After logging in, perform Step 5 to join each Location.
Step 1 – Confirm Your Identity

To ensure your privacy and confidentiality, MPI Partners needs to verify your identity.

  1. Open the email from do-not-reply@mpi.mb.ca with the subject line: Your Invitation to Join MPI Partners.
  2. Click on the MPI Partners link.
    • Don't delete this email. It includes an access code that you need later in Step 5.
    • If you deleted the email, please contact the person who invited you to join MPI Partners.
  3. From the MPI Partners home page, click Register.
    • Enter your driver document number (DD/RÉF) and Postal Code from the front of your active Manitoba driver's licence or identification card.
    • If you don’t have a valid driver’s licence or ID card, provide your customer number. Your customer number is located on any receipt, application or official documentation from MPI.
  4. Complete all fields and click Next.
Step 2 – Verify Your Email

MPI Partners needs to verify your preferred email address, preferably a work-supplied email. The email must be unique.

  1. From the Step 2: Verify Your Email page, complete the Primary Email and Re-enter Email fields.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Don't leave this page yet! You receive an email with a verification code.
  4. Enter the code from the email in the Verification Code field and click Next.
    • If you receive multiple emails with the same subject line, use the most recent one.
Step 3 – Create Your Profile

MPI Partners is a secure site for MPI's business partners. Each partner group has its own community and associated locations, if applicable. To access your Community, you need to set up a profile with a unique User ID and Password.

  1. Complete the following fields:
    • User ID - Choose an easy to remember User ID, preferably your first name followed by your last name. Your unique ID must be 8-20 characters long and cannot contain any non-alphanumeric characters such as !, @, #, etc. It is NOT case sensitive.
    • Name - Auto-generated based on MPI Customer Data
    • Primary Email - Enter the address you provided in Step 2
    • Alternate Email - This field is optional.
    • Password – choose a case-sensitive password that:
      1. is NOT the same as your user ID
      2. has 12 to 20 characters
      3. starts with a letter (upper or lower case)
      4. has a minimum of three unique characters
      5. has a minimum of four letters
      6. includes three of the following four options:
        1. uppercase letters (A-Z)
        2. lowercase letters (a-z)
        3. at least one number (0-9)
        4. at least one non-alphanumeric character (!, @, #, $, etc.)
  2. Click the Terms of Use and Conditions link.
  3. Read the end-user licence agreements, select the checkbox to accept, and click Next.
    Note: you will be logged out of MPI Partners after clicking Next.
  4. After receiving a confirmation email with the subject line: Welcome to MPI Partners, log in using your User ID and Password.
Step 4 – Establish Your Security Questions

Security questions are used to confirm your identify if you forget your User ID or Password.

  1. After logging in for the first time, select five different security questions from the drop down menus and enter answers.
    • This page appears only the first time you log-in.
    • Answers must have fewer than 256 characters and each question must have its own unique answer. Use answers you can remember.
    • Note: Answers are NOT case sensitive.
    • Do not use tabs to navigate through the security questions. Always use your mouse.
  2. Enter your password and click Save Challenge Questions.
  3. Close the green notification bar that appears near the top of the screen. This may take a few minutes; do NOT press the button again.
Step 5 – Join Your Community/Locations

Note: If you work at multiple locations you will receive additional invitations after registering. Follow the steps below to request access to each of these locations.
The final step is to join your Community/Location. This last step gives you secure access to your Community site.

  1. After logging in, click Access Request.
  2. Enter the access code from the first email with the subject line Your Invitation to Join MPI Partners. Then click Submit.
    • Note: The access code starts with the letter P.
  3. The system sends a request for approval to the person who invited you to MPI Partners.
    • If approved, you receive an email with the subject line MPI Partners – Approved Community Access Request with a link to the MPI Partners login page.
    • If rejected, you receive an email with the subject line MPI Partners – Rejected Community Access Request. If this happens, contact the person who invited you to MPI Partners for more information.
    • If you don 't complete this step within 14 days, your account may be deactivated.

Edit Your MPI Partners User Profile

You can change your User ID or Password, or make other changes to your profile.

  1. After logging in, click Your Account.
  2. From Your Account, click Edit Profile and click the profile detail you want to edit.
  3. In the Profile Details section, follow the instructions to enter changes. 
    • When changing your User ID, Password or primary email, you will receive an email from MPI Partners with further instructions.
    • A message appears on-screen, stating whether the update is successful or not. If it is not successful, email mpipartnerssupport@mpi.mb.ca or call 204-985-7575 for assistance.

Retrieve Your User ID

If you forget your User ID, you can easily retrieve it.

  1. From the MPI Partners sign in page,select Forgot your User ID.
  2. From the Forgot User ID page, follow the instructions to enter required information and click Next.
  3. Answer the three randomly selected security questions and click Submit.
    • If your answers are correct, you will be emailed your User ID.
    • If your answers are not correct, Contact Us.

Reset Your Password

To reset your password:

  1. From the MPI Partners sign in page, select I need to rest my password.
  2. From the Forgot Password page, follow the instructions to enter required information and click Next.
  3. Answer the three randomly selected security questions and select Submit.
    • If your answers are correct, you will be emailed a temporary password.
    • If your answers are not correct, Contact Us.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign in to MPI Partners?

Go to the MPI Partners homepage and click Log In. Enter the User ID and Password that you chose when you registered. Click Sign In.

Do I have to join a Community?

To maintain a MPI Partners account, you must be a member of a Community and/or Location. If your account is not associated with a Community and/or Location within 14 days, it will be deleted and you will need to re-register.

How do I get to my Community and/or Location?

Your Dashboard page opens after logging into MPI Partners. Your Dashboard lists all the Communities/Locations you are able to access. To launch your Community, select your location from the drop-down list and click the launch icon. ()

Can I access MPI Partners on a mobile device or tablet?

Yes. Browsers for iOS 5 and up, Android 4.0.1 and up, BlackBerry OS 7 and up, and Windows Mobile OS 7.5 and up are supported.

Who do I contact if I have questions about my account?

For questions about the registration process and activities within your Community, please contact the person who invited you to register with MPI Partners.
